On January 23rd 1999 the Centre for Photography was launched with a party. We invited every photographer we knew and knew of, to come and share the moment. Called "Expose" , entry was by donation of a photograph, which has formed the founding collection.

This collection is currently hanging in our yet-to-be-launched gallery as we ponder our future curatorial path. As far as the photographic gallery is concerned, the idea is to open it only once there is funding for a custodian and a decent exhibitions budget. All our hopes are currently pinned on the Lotto.
